Amanda Lynn (she/her)
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Amanda Lynn joined the Home Trust as Executive Director in August of 2021. Her lived experience with poverty and housing insecurity have driven her career around affordable housing over the past 10 years. She has passionately worked on housing at all levels, from directly providing emergency shelter to assisting with legislative action in the State Senate. Amanda fell in love with the Community Land Trust model years ago; she sees CLTs as a major solution to the many challenges our communities face. Before coming to the Home Trust, she earned a degree in Housing Policy & Economics. When she isn't working on building community, she spends most of her time outside enjoying the beauty of the island.

Lily Goldberg (she/her)
DIRECTOR OF HOUSING

Lily has been working at the Home Trust since 2020. She moved from Philadelphia to join our team as the Director of Housing. Her education in Urban Studies and Community Development drives her passion for working in the realm of affordable housing. Prior to her life on the island, she has worked for community development organizations, Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, and spent 5 years working for a nonprofit that organized cross-country bike rides to raise money and awareness for affordable housing.

In 2015, Lily biked 4,200 miles from Charleston, SC to Santa Cruz, CA with a team of 30 others, stopping along the way to work on affordable housing construction sites.

Oswyn Eshelman (they/them)
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Oswyn is a long time islander who joined our bookkeeping team in 2022. They are passionate about plants, cats, and housing justice. They have a background in finance and accounting with work history in corporate finance, governmental finance, and small business bookkeeping. After experiencing firsthand the struggle of finding affordable housing on the island, Oswyn is excited to use their talents to support the mission of the Home Trust.

Larissa Nash
LOGISTICS LEAD

Larissa is a long time island, 7th generation of her family here in Friday Harbor. She is very passionate about making a change for our happiness and creating self sustainability as a community. She has a background in business management, food and beverage as well as commercial fishing having been raised by a 6th generation commercial fisherman and a 1st generation Honduran chef. After running her family restaurants for 10 years in Honduras and moving back to the island to raise her son, she encountered the difficulties of affordable housing for her and her partner to raise their son in a home of their own. She is very excited to be able to support the progress of creating affordable housing in her mission to have a self sustainable community once again.

Larissa joined the Home Trust in 2024 as the Logistics Lead and is a catch all for Home Trust business, happenings, and administrative functions.

Kelly deWolf (they/them)

Kelly joined the Home Trust Team in 2024 as a remote-based grant writer. They have about 8 years of nonprofit experience, and are passionate about racial equity, housing justice, and art. Kelly most recently moved to Washington from Monterey County, California where they led a countywide $50 million dollar rental assistance and homelessness prevention program, working with local nonprofits, jurisdictions, tenants and homeowners to provide much needed pandemic relief to tenants. They also have experience with racial justice education, program evaluation, and housing advocacy.

Kelly is excited to join the Home Trust and contribute toward building permanently affordable housing. They live in Deming, WA with their dog, Rocky and cat, Xiomara.

Kasha Goldberg
OFFICE GREETER, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Kasha moved to the island in January of 2021 and immediately picked up an important job in our office of greeting visitors and giving snuggles.

When she’s not at the office, she’s chasing tennis balls at the dog park and napping in the sun.
